The environmental technology division of ROHRLEITUNGSBAU SÜD GmbH & Co. KG, a company active in stainless steel industrial plant engineering for the paper, chemical, and food and beverage industries, has been extremely successful throughout Europe in recent years. One project was the construction of the world's largest de-inking flotation plant for the paper industry. Due to the steady upswing, this department developed into the subsidiary RS UMWELTTECHNIK KG in 1999. RS UMWELTTECHNIK KG offers the customer the complete planning, construction and commissioning of customized plants for the conveying and solid-liquid separation of sewage sludge (solids separators, dewatering machines, screw conveyors and dewatering conveyors) as well as for the treatment of wastewater. The efficient combination of washing, pre-drying and conveying in one or more units allows the use in many applications such as industrial and municipal wastewater treatment plants, paper industry, slaughterhouses as well as vegetable processing and canning industry. In addition, all types of stainless steel vessel and piping structures are fabricated upon customer request.
