Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden, Hochschulverbund Transfer und Innovation Ostbayern (TRIO)

"Machbar" - the name of the innovation lab at OTH Amberg-Weiden says it all. The lab supports companies (and social groups or other players in the healthcare sector) in the development of innovations. The focus is on the three dimensions of the innovation process "Developing," "Testing," and "Applying."

The lab is an incubator for new technologies and services from problem definition to implementation (possibly also in form of a product) or provides start-up support for the field of medical technology. The methodological approach basically maps the entire product lifecycle in terms of "Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)".

The Innovation Lab@OTH AW is being created as part of the Transfer and Innovation East Bavaria (TRIO) project. This project is intended to strengthen the cooperation between universities and companies and to increase the innovative capacity of Eastern Bavaria. It is funded by the funding initiative "Innovative University" of the federal and state governments.
