Profile

e-Mobility by opdi-tex | Sustainability & "corporate charging"

To keep our carbon footprint as small as possible, we at opdi-tex not only pay attention to high-quality components and durable, low-maintenance products. In terms of sustainability, we deliberately rely on solar and e-mobility to conserve resources. A PV system on the company roof not only easily covers 70 percent of the complete electrical energy requirements in our sensor manufacturing facility. "We also fill up our own sun" at the company's own Wallbe charging station. This service can be used not only by employees but also by customers & guests. The 30 kW photovoltaic system makes it possible. "Take the initiative yourself!" is the credo of company founder and owner Karl-Ludwig Schinner. Since he knows scenarios like parked e-charging stations all too well from his own experience, opdi-tex has developed a camera-based solution for this via AI! opdiPark, the seeing e-charging station | to improve the charging infrastructure

Parking spaces at e-charging stations are often illegally blocked, to the chagrin of those who urgently need to fill up with electricity and against the background that the charging infrastructure is still very patchy in many places. In addition, no money can be earned with a blocked charging station - or is it?! opdi-tex has developed a vehicle & person detection, which can check the proper occupancy of electric charging stations via camera & AI to over 98% guaranteed. While today charging stations can only detect 'occupied ', if there is refueling, opdiPark also allows the detection of whether someone is blocking the space in front of the column against the rules. opdiPark extends the basic functions of charging stations by means of artificial intelligence /KI useful additional functions:

  • from the info on parking space occupancy itself
  • over user-friendly support via optional communication interface
  • and emergency assistance
  • up to the possible monitoring (license plate recognition of illegal parkers) and punishment for damage.

opdiPark makes e-charging columns, more user-friendly, more efficient, more reliable & safer! Here you can already take a look from an e-charging column: https://youtu.be/CHd5GwaaSRc opdiPark is our technological contribution as an environmentally conscious & innovative medium-sized company to create a reliably available charging infrastructure "everywhere & at any time" as called for in the master plan of the Federal Government.
