NATURSTROM AG

NATURSTROM AG is the oldest independent green electricity provider in Germany. It is headquartered in Düsseldorf and maintains a branch office in Forchheim, Upper Franconia. While electricity trading and customer service are the main activities in Düsseldorf, the project planning of new plants and the certification of electricity (Grüner Strom Label e. V.) are concentrated in Forchheim. In line with its philosophy of bringing about an energy turnaround, NATURSTROM AG has committed itself to investing at least one cent per kilowatt hour of electricity sold in the expansion of renewable energies. The most sensible use of this subsidy cent will also be decided in Forchheim.

Energy with a future

NATURSTROM trades exclusively in electricity from renewable energy sources, builds and operates regenerative energy generation plants (new plant promotion) and promotes independent producers. NATURSTROM is certified by the "Grüner Strom Label e.V." with the seal of approval in the GOLD category. Our current electricity mix: 58% water, 41.5% wind, 0.5% sun. NATURSTROM is the first independent green electricity provider that obtains more than 50% of its electricity from German plants.
