The MAGYARMET investment foundry was founded in 1981 and from the beginning had modern equipment and supplied demanding customers at home and abroad. In 1993, the German Schmidt + Clemens GmbH, a well-known stainless steel manufacturer, took over the investment foundry, which led to further investments and significant increases in sales in the following years. Reliable technology and a functioning quality assurance system (certified according to TÜV AD-Merkblatt WO/TRD 100 and ISO 9002), an experienced and well-trained team are the prerequisites for MAGYARMET's good reputation and high export share of 80%.
