EN The research focus of the Chair of Plastics Engineering at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dietmar Drummer, is on additive manufacturing, lightweight construction with plastic-metal hybrids and thermoplastic fiber composites. Special highlights at the K2019 trade show will also include innovations in tribology, flame-retardant plastics, media-tight joints, elastic three-dimensional structures, and graded material properties.
