InSuM - Interior Hub

Interior Hub for Sustainable Mobility - InSuM analyzes the relevant megatrends such as autonomous driving, electrification, connected car and shared mobility with regard to the redesign of the interior in conjunction with the demand for sustainability of the materials used in the vehicle and the associated production processes along the value chain. In order to successfully shape this challenging change, the partners automoti-ve thüringen, AMZ Netzwerk Automobilzulieferer Sachsen, the Automotive Cluster of Bayern Innovativ and the TUCed as an affiliated institute for transfer and further education of the TU Chemnitz want to ensure the networking of all relevant actors through suitable transfer instruments, intensify the knowledge transfer for the automotive and supplier industry across regions and support the scaling of R&D solutions. In particular, cross-industry networking formats, workshops for the transfer of research results, comprehensive trend/market analyses and a digital platform for supra-regional exchange are planned, as well as the nationwide integration of further actors in the field of sustainable interiors.
