Verband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau Bayern e.V.

The association garden, landscape and sports field construction Bavaria registered association was created on 14.12.1963 as professional association of Bavarian landscape gardeners registered association in Ingolstadt. It was the first independent association of commercial landscaping companies in post-war West Germany. An initially small group of gardening and landscaping companies has grown to over 600 members. The association represents thus the most efficient specialized companies of this industry in the Free State of Bavaria. The member companies employ between 3 and 200 employees. Membership is only possible for commercial specialist companies that have proven their specialist qualification in the field of constructional and vegetation services in garden, landscape and sports ground construction in the admission procedure. In Germany, all state associations are organized in the Bundesverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau e. V. (Federal Association of Garden, Landscape and Sports Ground Construction) with headquarters in Bad Honnef (near Bonn) (founded in 1964).
