Information
For integrated energy supplies, issues relating to energy harvesting, battery management and power management are addressed. Furthermore, battery management systems are developed and optimized especially for complex battery and fuel cell systems, such as those used in hybrid and electric vehicles. These systems determine not only the exact state of charge (SOC) but also aging and remaining operating and service life. For the realization of vehicle-to-grid, connections for smart demand and billing of mobile consumers are developed from system architecture to prototypical implementation. Special embedded and highly integrated systems are the basis of many applications. Work focuses on the selection and adaptation of real-time operating systems as well as the design and implementation of configurable and extensible software. In addition, energy-efficient, adapted hardware is developed.
