Information

Waste recycling plants with BTA technology process organic waste and waste mixtures from households (biowaste, domestic waste, residual waste), commerce and agriculture into high-quality biogas and compost. BTA uses its experience gained in more than 20 years to continuously optimize the process and adapt it to the specific needs of its customers. It is also active in the field of consulting, planning and approval of waste treatment systems and separate collection of waste materials. The process consists of two main steps: a wet preparation of waste and a subsequent biological stage for digestion. Wet processing enables efficient separation of degradable organics from non-degradable substances. In a specially developed BTA waste pulper, the waste is mixed with water and the organic components are processed into a homogeneous, pumpable suspension with 10% dry residue. Unwanted impurities (such as plastics, textiles, stones, metals) are effectively and gently separated with the help of a sluice at the bottom of the pulper or with a rake. To remove any remaining fine impurities from the suspension, a BTA grit separator is used, an important measure to protect downstream plant components from excessive wear. No fresh water is required for wet processing, as the water contained in the waste is recirculated and used as process water. In order to offer economical solutions and meet a wide range of requirements, BTA can provide different versions for the biological process step. The BTA process is suitable for biowaste, catering waste and canteen waste, as well as all household waste and residual waste.
