Bayerischer Industrie- und Handelskammertag (BIHK) e. V.

Since its founding in 1909, the Bavarian Association of Chambers of Industry and Commerce (BIHK) e. V. has been the largest business organization in the Free State of Bavaria. The BIHK is the umbrella organization for the nine Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs). Currently, the Bavarian IHKs represent approximately one million legally registered IHK member companies of all sizes and across all industries and advocate for their interests—at the state, federal, and EU levels. More than 58,000 individuals from Bavarian companies volunteer their time to support the work of the IHKs, thereby ensuring the IHKs’ close ties to the business community as well as their effectiveness and efficiency as the self-governing body of the Bavarian economy.
