Profile

Family-owned full-service system supplier for complex plastic assemblies—from concept development through injection molding and surface finishing to ready-to-assemble series production (since 1949, approx. 1,400 employees)

Technology / Research

The Weber Group possesses comprehensive expertise in plastic injection molding, including 1K and 2K processes, specialized processes, and the production of large parts with edge lengths up to 1.5 m. This is complemented by surface finishing processes such as painting, lamination, IMD/IML, and high-gloss finishes, as well as hybrid technology for joining plastic and metal. Another key focus is on the mechatronic integration of E/E components, circuit boards, actuators, and displays, as well as kinematic assemblies for haptic, acoustic, and optical applications. In the security and defense industry, the Weber Group is currently active in naval technology, as well as in energy supply and storage for critical infrastructure.

Products / Services

The Weber Group offers mass-produced plastic injection-molded parts, including large-format components, as well as mechatronic assemblies with E/E integration. In addition, the company manufactures surface-finished plastic components—such as those with paint, lamination, or IMD/IML—as well as kinematic assemblies for haptic, acoustic, and optical applications. As a full-service system supplier, Weber also covers the entire development chain, from concept and design through simulation to assembly-ready series production, including logistics. Through its wezi-next unit, the company also offers pre-development and co-creation services for new industries and technologies.
