Slogan

Reliable Network in Remote Locations

Profile

Telecommunications, software development, IT consulting, and the provision of other information technology and computer infrastructure services

Information

Kai Müller, founder and CEO, developed Remote Network Solutions based on firsthand field experience: Overseas deployments with the German Armed Forces (ISAF/Afghanistan), humanitarian mine clearance with Norwegian People’s Aid in crisis zones, and medical missions in expeditionary environments—from Arctic regions (Greenland, Svalbard) to remote offshore locations. In all these contexts, the same problem was present: a lack of situational awareness and communication capabilities under degraded or non-existent infrastructure conditions. Remote Network Solutions is the direct answer to this—built by someone who knows the consequences of a lack of situational awareness from personal experience.

Technology / Research

Remote Network Solutions develops modular, off-grid-capable situational awareness and communication systems for disaster response and civil-military cooperation. The core product is RNS Mission Control: a web-based platform for decentralized real-time situational awareness, OSINT integration, and communication via satellite, MANET, and Meshtastic—even when completely off-grid.

Products / Services

Edge computing, mesh networks (Meshtastic), satellite connectivity (Starlink), ATAK integration, OSINT source processing, real-time situational awareness (Leaflet), remote medical triage (POCUS/Butterfly iQ+)

RNS Mission Control (web app, offline-capable), modular Pelicase field kit (Starlink, solar/wind, Butterfly iQ+ ultrasound, EDAN iM20, xChart EMR), system integration, and consulting for civil-military operational scenarios
