Slogan

We deliver laser based energy and protection systems for 24/7 safe drone operations

Profile

PowerIn.Space is a photonics company developing laser-based Counter-UAS (CUAS) solutions for scenarios where RF jamming is ineffective or impractical. Its systems focus on optical sensor denial, designed to disrupt or blind drone cameras, including FPV, autonomous, or tethered drones that are not dependent on RF links. In parallel, PowerIn.Space develops laser-based wireless power and optical systems enabling continuous operation of drones and autonomous machines.

Technology / Research

Laser-based optical sensor denial for Counter-UAS (CUAS)

  • Counter-drone solutions for non-RF-reliant threats (FPV, autonomous, tethered drones)
  • High-precision laser beam pointing, tracking, and stabilization
  • LiDAR-based target tracking and aiming
  • Laser safety architectures and fast fail-safe mechanisms
  • Laser-based wireless power transmission
  • Optical power-to-electricity conversion
  • Optical data transmission using modulating retro-reflectors

Products / Services

Laser-based Counter-UAS systems for environments where RF jamming is ineffective:

  • Handheld FPV blinder units (main product today)
  • Fixed laser blinding stations for perimeter and site protection
  • Drone-mounted laser payloads for self-protection against attacking drones

Laser power beaming stations for persistent drone operations:

  • Airborne and ground-based laser receiver modules
  • Optical power and data transmission systems
  • System integration and mission-specific customization

Information

PowerIn.Space is a photonics company developing laser based Counter UAS solutions for scenarios where RF jamming is ineffective, constrained, or undesirable. We focus on optical sensor denial, designed to disrupt or blind drone cameras and optical payloads, including FPV drones, autonomous drones, and tethered or fiber linked systems that do not rely on RF control links. This approach is intended as a complementary layer when RF countermeasures face legal, operational, safety, or interference constraints. Building on the same photonics stack, we also develop laser based wireless power and optical communication systems to enable persistent operation of drones and remote systems by transmitting energy and data through a controlled optical beam, reducing reliance on batteries, cables, or landing infrastructure.
