Slogan
One-stop metal 3D printing and post-processing: from concept to ready-to-install component.
Profile
At HUNGER 3D Unlimited, we manufacture high-precision 3D-printed metal components from aluminum (AlSi10Mg) and stainless steel (316L), including CNC post-processing and surface finishing—all from a single source. In this way, we support companies in the security and defense industries with lightweight, high-strength, and complex-shaped components—such as those for drones—which are often not economically feasible to produce using traditional manufacturing methods.
Information
HUNGER 3D Unlimited is the additive manufacturing division of Ludwig Hunger Maschinenfabrik GmbH, a mechanical engineering company based in Kaufering near Munich that has been in business for over 55 years. We combine our many years of experience in design and machining with the additive manufacturing of metal components, thereby offering an end-to-end process from a single source—from the initial idea through design and simulation to the finished, ready-to-install component.
Our focus is on complex geometries that cannot be produced using conventional methods—or can only be produced with great effort—such as integrated cooling channels, weight-optimized structures, or functionally integrated components. Thanks to our in-house CNC machining, we achieve tight tolerances even for 3D-printed parts. For the security and defense industries, we see particular potential in lightweight, robust components for drones and other unmanned systems.
