Profile

HSM is a medium-sized manufacturing and development specialist based in Ernsgaden, Bavaria, with over 30 years of experience, approximately 100 employees, and 50 patents. We develop and manufacture heavy-duty, safety-critical precision components and assemblies, from design through CNC machining and certified welding (ISO 3834-2) to series assembly. Certification to AQAP 2110 is currently in progress.

Information

We seek to collaborate with DefTech companies, system integrators, and research institutions. As a manufacturing and development partner, we support the scaling of unmanned systems and military robotics. We operate with short iteration cycles and a regional supply chain in Bavaria. Our quality is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 3834-2; AQAP 2110 certification is in progress.

Technology / Research

CNC machining (3-/4-axis, components up to 250 kg, automated manufacturing), robotic and manual welding as a certified welding specialist company according to ISO 3834-2 (MAG, stud welding), in-house design and development department with production-oriented design. Further development of mechanical assemblies to incorporate sensor technology and automation functions.

Products / Services

We develop and manufacture robust mechanical assemblies as well as mounting and connection systems for mobile machinery. Everything from a single source: from prototypes to series production with approximately 25,000 units per year. Our portfolio includes our own KBA-approved products and restraint systems for forklifts. These concepts can be adapted to other vehicle platforms. Our OEM customers include John Deere, Linde, and Toyota Material Handling.
