Information
As the holder of the type certificate and a service partner for existing D328 operators worldwide—for both turboprop and jet engines—the company ensures the highest level of reliability and efficiency. In addition, Deutsche Aircraft is developing the D328eco. The most efficient and sustainable regional aircraft in its class enables significantly lower operating and maintenance costs, as well as reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. It can also fly entirely on synthetic fuels (PtL SAF). The D328eco is manufactured at Leipzig/Halle Airport, where the world’s most modern and environmentally friendly final assembly line for regional aircraft is currently being built. The final assembly line was inaugurated in the fall of 2026 and is currently ramping up production. Once fully operational, approximately 250 new employees in Leipzig/Halle will produce up to 48 aircraft per year.
