Technology / Research

As an experienced innovation partner with 18 research projects over the past 12 years, cirp combines over 30 years of additive manufacturing expertise with in-house rapid tooling—enabling us to scale quickly from prototypes to four- or five-digit production runs. In lightweight construction, we draw on expertise gained, for example, from the EU project MOAMMM (Multi-scale Optimization for Additive Manufacturing of Fatigue-Resistant Shock-Absorbing MetaMaterials) to develop practical, weight-optimized lightweight and protective solutions for dual-use applications.

Information

cirp is your partner for rapid manufacturing and innovation—from the initial idea to series production. In additive manufacturing, we cover virtually every application with five processes (SLS, SLA, DLP, PolyJet, FDM), over 30 industrial 3D printers, and more than 60 materials. For small-batch production, we draw on 25 years of injection molding experience, including in-house tool design and manufacturing: Thanks to rapid tooling, we can scale up from a prototype overnight to over 10,000 parts in just a few days. In addition, we offer machining (4 machining centers), vacuum casting, as well as finishing, painting, and assembly—all from a single source at our Heimsheim location. As an experienced innovation partner with 18 research projects over the past 12 years, we drive developments in materials, processes, applications, software, and the IoT.
