Following our motto "Optimization enterprise", we position ourselves as a leading provider and implementer of high-performance optimization processes. For our customers in the automotive and pharmaceutical industries, we develop individual analytics and optimization solutions that are used permanently in daily operations. Comprehensive data management and the automated detection of correlations using AI is leading to a rapid increase in demand for holistic optimization. Consequently, NP-hard problems with millions, perhaps even billions, of variables need to be solved. With quantum computing, we exploit the exponential advantage and circumvent mathematical problems such as the rounding catastrophe. With our strong background in physics and theoretical computer science, we are researching and developing precisely fitting solutions for the use of quantum computing, e.g., in answering the question for which (sub)problems true quantum superiority can be achieved.
Profile
OptWare GmbH has been designing and implementing optimization and analytics in production and logistics systems for more than 20 years. We developed research-based and customized solutions with the highest performance for the automotive and pharmaceutical industries. We also uncover complex interdependencies, develop monitoring systems and derive decision-relevant information. We implement and operate planning software, some of which is used by several thousand users.
