The Faculty of Physics and Astronomy stands for excellent research into quantum materials in all their facets: from superconducting systems to photonic platforms and topological semiconductors. These focal points define the experimental and theoretical work in the "Tocotronics" Collaborative Research Center and in the "ct.qmat - Complexity and Topology in Quantum Materials" Cluster of Excellence, which is supported jointly with TU Dresden.
