CG TEC Carbon und Glaserfasertechnik GmbH has been producing tubes, rods, sheets and components made of carbon, glass fiber and basalt fiber for almost 30 years. We are the technology leader for round profiles made of carbon and glass fiber in Germany and Europe. CG TEC's particular strength lies in the enormous breadth of its range of services - from customized individual parts to industrial series production. All production steps, from development and prototype production to final production, are carried out at the German site, which guarantees the highest quality standards and "Made in Germany". Thanks to a strong network of international partners, CG TEC is expanding its range of services and can have selected products produced efficiently by partners without compromising on quality.
With a growing focus on sustainability, CG TEC is continuously expanding its portfolio to include environmentally friendly materials such as flax and hemp fibers as well as basalt fibers. In the construction industry in particular, the company is setting new standards for sustainable alternatives to conventional steel reinforcement with its GRP rebars - with a significantly longer service life and no corrosion problems.
Technology / Research
Our core competencies lie in prepreg winding technology and pultrusion technology. In prepreg winding technology, resin-impregnated scrims or fabric mats (prepegs) are wrapped around metal mandrels, which are removed again after curing in the oven. Thanks to pultrusion technology - also known as the extrusion process - fiber-reinforced profiles are produced in a wide variety of designs. The continuous process makes it possible to produce profiles from reinforcing fibers and resin systems. We are also specialists in the processing of fiber composites, in particular composite panels. The processing of fiber composites is complex and requires many years of expertise. Common processing techniques include drilling, milling, sawing, turning, gluing, grinding and painting.

In addition to prototyping, assembly, quality testing and documentation, series production is also one of our strengths.
