Quality and innovation are our hallmarks. - Today, and for the markets of tomorrow.

Profile

Perlon Nextrusion Monofil GmbH originates from the fiber division of the former Hoechst AG and is today part of the Perlon Group. The Perlon Group is a merger of the companies PerlonNextrusion and Hahl-Pedex and belongs to the Serafin Group, Munich. With a capacity of üover 20,000 tons at sites in Germany, the USA and in China, the Perlon Group is counted as the world's leading manufacturer of monofilaments, synthetic and abrasive filaments.

Perlon Nextrusion Monofil GmbH produces monofilaments from a wide variety of melt-spinnable polymers at its Bobingen site near Augsburg, Germany, and markets them worldwide under the QualiFil® brand name. With 200 well-trained and highly motivated employees up to 7,200 tons of monofilaments are produced per year and thus a turnover of üover 38 million € is achieved.

Products

QualiFil®, Perlon's range of monofilaments for paper machine clothing (PMC) and other demanding technical end-uses (ATT) such as filtration (especially solid/fluid separation), conveyor belt fabrics, spacer fabrics and sporting goods, such as PerlonXline brand fishing lines. But they are also used in cables and ropes (Atlas®), as reinforcing fibers in textile constructions and in agriculture (Bayco®). QualiFil® stands for the high quality of the products, which is ensured, among other things, by online process control. In the diameter range 0.055 - 6.00 mm, monofilaments are produced in round or profiled cross-sections with special properties. DuraFil® convinces with fibrillation and abrasion resistance. EasyKleen® on the other hand, is dirt-repellent. With regard to energy reduction, EnerSave® is offered. With HighGrip, maximum product adhesion is achieved, thus eliminating the additional step of coating. Elastic monofilaments (ElasTer®), flame retardant monofilaments (FireRetard®) and antistatic bi-component monofilaments (AntiStat) complete the current range.
