The goal of the staff department Entrepreneurship & Innovation of the University of Bayreuth is to increase innovation activity and thus to sustainably improve both the future viability of established companies and new start-ups in the Upper Franconia region. The task of the staff department E & I is to support new business ideas and start-ups and to promote the exchange of knowledge. This also includes close cooperation with chairs that deal scientifically with the topic of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, as well as the maintenance and expansion of internal and external networks to facilitate the start of founders at the University of Bayreuth.
