EN The Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) will present its three network and transfer projects AWARE - Bavarian Center for Applied Research and Technology with Latin America , SAFIR: Safety for all - Innovative Research Partnership on Global Vehicle and Road Safety Systems, and the research alliance Mensch in Bewegung at its booth. For the first time, the AI mobility node of the THI, AImotion Bavaria, will also be presenting itself.
The Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) is one of Germany's strongest research universities for applied sciences. A central position is occupied by the CARISSMA research building, the nationwide leading scientific center for integral vehicle safety. Since 2019, THI has been home to the Bavarian AI Mobility Node with a total of 20 AI research professorships. With six research institutes in the field of mobility and renewable energies, the Fraunhofer Application Center for Networked Mobility and Infrastructure, the AI cooperation network of AININ gGmbH and other competence centers, more than 250 scientists conduct research at THI. Currently, about 70 professorships with 200 scientific staff members focus their research on the topics Mobility & Traffic Safety, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning as well as Sustainability & Renewable Energies.
