The goal of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in the context of knowledge and technology transfer is to let new products and services mature from new research findings as quickly as possible in cooperation with industry, as well as to positively shape social development. The task of the Contact Point for Knowledge and Technology Transfer (wtt) is to initiate and accompany cooperations between companies and the university. For companies, it is the central contact and mediator in the search for the right expert at the university. The contact point wtt provides needs-oriented advice in the search for suitable cooperation partners within the university.
