The facility develops technical and strategic solutions for the efficient use of secondary resources as well as functional materials. The focus of the research work is on the areas of recyclable material cycles and sustainable resource strategies. The aim is to establish closed-loop recycling and to avoid waste by recovering valuable raw materials as well as recycling or replacing them with sustainable alternatives.  Thus, the implementation of the developments in industry is also an important goal of the research work.
