Since the integration of the Cluster Mechatronics & Automation, Bayern Innovativ GmbH is represented with a location in Augsburg. On the 3rd floor of the Augsburg Technology Center, interested parties will find contact persons of the cluster, the AI production network and contact to all support offers of Bayern Innovativ.

The cluster combines know-how from the disciplines mechanics, electronics and computer science. For the distinctive production region 'Bavarian Swabia', innovations in the technology fields of mechatronics, robotics and efficient production are of particular importance. Within the framework of its business areas of communication, cooperation, qualification and internationalization, the cluster offers platforms for active cooperation between industry, science and politics.

The goal of the cluster players is to realize innovations in mechatronics itself and through its application, for example in industrial automation. The possibilities of digitalization in engineering, production and operation are intended to contribute to economic, ecological and social sustainability of the economy in Bavaria.

The range of services offered by the innovation cluster includes general information and education measures as well as consulting and networking services specific to cluster partners - both nationally and internationally. Its integration into Bayern Innovativ GmbH expands the spectrum of consulting services and networking opportunities into other specialization fields of the Bavarian Innovation Strategy.
