smartCable, with its IT tools V5H and MS_Cable, is a tool provider for the entire product development process from the physical wiring system to manufacturing. The standardized, accumulating data model used in the systems - the digital twin! – represents the logical and spatial arrangement of all components and their interaction in the vehicle. The integrated simulation modules are not only used for subsequent validation: simulation integrated into the design process helps developers to recognize problems and potentials in good time and to make the necessary decisions - supported by tools! – to make the necessary decisions. In both tools, a change module is available that formally describes changes as a constructive difference, identifies all affected data and documents and automatically carries out the necessary update steps through digital transformation.
