Information

VOCUS GmbH develops and industrializes innovative solutions for additive manufacturing with a focus on high-performance applications. The company combines materials development, Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM), engineering, and qualification to create end-to-end product and process solutions. A particular focus is on the development of continuous-fiber-reinforced PA6 CFRP components as well as hybrid manufacturing technologies for the functional and economic optimization of complex components. Since 2019, VOCUS has been supplying the aviation industry with additively manufactured products. With the EASA-certified thrust piece for the SOLO 2625, one of the first additively manufactured series products of its kind was successfully introduced into flight operations. In addition, VOCUS is involved in national and European research projects focused on sustainable aviation, lightweight construction, digital twins, MRO, and the industrialization of additive manufacturing processes.
