Procedure

Applications are submitted online via the Bayern Innovativ GmbH application portal. You can also upload all the necessary documents there. The application must be completed in German.

Please note: proof of booking the event venue in Bavaria must be submitted to Bayern Innovativ GmbH no later than six months after approval. Booking the venue before submitting the application is not eligible for funding.

Bayern Innovativ GmbH staff will check the form and content of the application. Please note that incomplete or incorrect applications must be corrected. Unfortunately, this will delay the processing of your application.

Notifications are always made available to you digitally in the application portal. If the funding decision is positive, you will receive a grant notification. Please note that all deadlines, notification obligations and conditions in the grant notification are binding. Non-compliance is detrimental to funding. If the funding decision is negative, you will receive a rejection notice.

Proper use of the funding must be proven within seven months of the event taking place (simple proof of use). At the request of the granting authority, it must be possible to provide corresponding evidence/receipts. The use of funds is checked more closely on a random basis. Additional on-site checks are also carried out.

The funding will be paid out after submission of the proof of use and verification by Bayern Innovativ GmbH. From receipt of the approval, a one-off partial drawdown of up to half of the approved funds is possible, provided that these funds are required within three months of disbursement to settle expenses for the event venue. The invoice/request for payment from the event venue must be submitted as proof. The remaining funds will then be disbursed as a second installment after the audit of the proof of use has been completed.
