How can cities and regions better protect themselves against flooding and heavy rainfall? The event brings together experts from municipalities, research, industry and authorities to discuss practical solutions and forward-looking strategies in civil protection.
The workshop is aimed at representatives from municipalities, research institutions, industry and authorities who are involved in protective measures against flooding and heavy rainfall. The focus is on interdisciplinary exchange, practical impulses and the discussion of future challenges and solutions in the field of disaster protection and how existing activities in this area (e.g. Flood Check) can be meaningfully combined.
The event is being organized as part of the cross-cluster project RESY - Resilient Systems for Civil Protection and is funded by the Bavarian Cluster Initiative of the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.
