Eine Frau in futuristischem Aussehen mit vielen Kabeln verbunden Tom Mesic / Ars Electronica,

Ars Electronica is one of the world's leading festivals for art, technology and society. We invite innovative companies to join us on an exciting cross-innovation journey. Take the opportunity to network with the cultural and creative industries, artists and medical technology SMEs and break new ground together.

The trip is organized by the Creative Industries department at Bayern Innovativ in collaboration with Ars Electronica and the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (StMWi). Artists and experts from the scientific community come together with companies from the medical technology sector to promote interdisciplinary exchange between art, science and business and to jointly develop significant new innovations.
The aim: to create a firework of ideas and the basis for ground-breaking follow-up projects!

Participation in the journey also marks the start of the path to new products that arise from different perspectives and creative impulses. For particularly promising ideas and partnerships, there are opportunities for further funding through support programs.

But why promote medical technology with creative minds? Quite simply, they have a different perspective on the industry and can provide impetus away from the daily grind that has not been considered before. With their unique methods, speculative thinking, expertise and critical perspectives, they contribute to the process and question processes in a different way. The central concern of the initiative is a genuine interdisciplinarity in which different forms of knowledge production are equally valued and included in shaping the future of AI and medicine. The aim is to enable and consolidate sustainable collaboration between art, technology and business.

Who can apply? Areyou an SME from the medical technology sector and are you open to new impulses for creating new innovations? Then nothing stands in the way of your application!
