Economic players in the machinery sector should find out about the changes in good time, as the new requirements take time to implement. The workshop will present the contents of the EU Machinery Regulation, especially with regard to the changes compared to the current Machinery Directive.
The focus will be on the implementation of the amended requirements in practice.

The workshop will give you a comprehensive overview of the new EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 and the amended requirements compared to the current EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

These include the obligations of manufacturers, importers and distributors, as well as the conformity assessment procedures. There are also new and amended requirements with regard to machine safety, such as cyber security or the operation of autonomous machines.

In addition to the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to ask and discuss their questions.
