MedtecSUMMIT Meets iSMIT

How are artificial intelligence, robotics, innovative materials, and digital technologies transforming medicine—and surgery in particular?

At the iSMIT Congress 2026, the 37th International Congress of the International Society for Medical Innovation and Technology, international experts, researchers, and pioneers in medical innovation will gather in Nuremberg from December 11 to 12, 2026.

Under the theme “From Human Skill to Autonomous Systems,” the congress will focus on groundbreaking developments such as autonomous robotics, digital twins, mixed reality, 3D printing, neurotechnologies, and the future of surgical care. Discover new perspectives, discuss innovative solutions, and network with leading minds from the fields of medicine, research, and technology.

The healthcare division of Bayern Innovativ is a partner in the two-day conference and is organizing its own series of sessions. The goal is to connect the International Society for Medical Innovation and Technology with innovative players in the Bavarian medical technology sector and to bring together idea generators with those who apply these innovations in practice. This exchange will take place both during the sessions and during networking breaks and evening events.
