During this two-hour webinar, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) will present its new announcement.
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE ) presents its new announcement for the funding of innovative projects within the framework of the "Important Project of Common European Interest on Advanced Semiconductor Technologies" (IPCEI AST).
The aim is to intensify European cooperation and strengthen the microelectronics ecosystem.
Following the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, in particular about the submission of sketches.
The event will take place online and is free of charge.
Object of the funding
The IPCEI AST focuses on highly innovative research, development and industrialization projects, including the first commercial use (FID), which can be assigned to at least one of the following areas and exceed the global state of the art:
- AI chips and accelerators
- Chiplets and heterointegration
- Photonic integrated circuits
- Disruptive sensors for automation
- Power electronics with disruptive energy-saving solutions
- Secure communication
- Key technologies in the microelectronics value chain that enable technology developments in the aforementioned areas, e.g. raw wafers, chip design, advanced packaging, manufacturing equipment and metrology
