The Future of Culture in the Age of AI: On June 26, 2026, cultural professionals from all over Bavaria will gather at the Neues Museum in Nuremberg to discuss the opportunities, risks, and prospects of AI in the cultural sector—in an open, practical, and participatory manner.
How do we want to shape artificial intelligence in the cultural sector—and what, specifically, do cultural professionals in Bavaria need to make that happen?
On June 26, 2026, the Bavarian Foundation for Cultural Future, in collaboration with the Bavarian Cultural Atlas, invites you to the Neues Museum in Nuremberg to facilitate orientation, exchange, and active participation regarding AI in the cultural sector. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and participatory formats, the event will bring together perspectives from the arts, law, technology, and cultural practice. The event’s partners are the Neues Museum Nuremberg and the CreativeTechHUB.
Who is this event intended for?
This event is aimed at everyone working in the cultural sector in Bavaria, whether in institutions, as independent artists, in administration, outreach, or cultural policy. It is also aimed at designers, developers, and anyone who wants to contribute to cultural transformation through technology. No prior knowledge of AI is required.
