For over ten years, Meet in Italy for Life Sciences (MIT4LS) has served as Italy’s central platform for interdisciplinary dialogue in the life sciences sector. This year, the event returns to its original, innovative format, bringing together national and international stakeholders from the business, research, institutional, and healthcare sectors in Italy.

The thematic focus is on the areas of Supply Chain Growth, Sustainability & Innovation, Research Competitiveness, and Valorization of Skills, covering the following sectors:

• Sustainability and Innovation: Data strategy and governance, value-based healthcare.
• Research Competitiveness: Public-private partnerships (PPPs), technology transfer, and strategies and innovations for clinical research.

The MIT4LS Brokerage Event is initiated by ALISEI, the Italian life sciences technology cluster, and organized by the CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) as a partner of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)—in collaboration with the EEN Health Sector Group. The matchmaking event offers stakeholders from across the global life sciences community a targeted and efficient opportunity to expand their international network.

The brokerage event is based on pre-arranged one-on-one meetings:

To participate in on-site meetings, a valid visitor ticket for Meet in Italy for Life Sciences is required.

In 2008, the European Commission launched the Enterprise Europe Network. With approximately 600 organizations in all EU member states and numerous other partner countries, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is the largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises.

In Bavaria, six other organizations are participating in the Enterprise Europe Network project alongside Bayern Innovativ GmbH: Auftragsberatungszentrum Bayern e.V., Außenwirtschaftszentrum Bayern, Bayerische Forschungsallianz, Bayern Handwerk International, the Chamber of Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria, and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria.

More than 50 experts in the Bavarian consortium thus advise ambitious small and medium-sized enterprises on how to grow in innovative and international ways. The European experts from the participating partners are closely networked with specialists from across Europe and are happy to assist you with your needs.
