Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger and the Bavarian Chips Alliance are hosting the fifth Bavarian Semiconductor Congress in Munich on July 6, 2026. This year, the focus will be on "Photonic Integrated Circuits" and "Artificial Intelligence in Microelectronics".

The event brings together representatives from business, science, politics and administration to discuss current trends, challenges and opportunities in the semiconductor industry. With specialist presentations and lively discussions, the congress promotes the exchange of ideas and the networking of the Bavarian semiconductor ecosystem.
