The Humanoid Days 2026 at the FAPS in Erlangen showcase the latest developments in humanoid robotics. The focus is on applications for production, logistics and service as well as exchange between research and industry.

In July, Erlangen will be the meeting place for all those who want to understand and shape humanoid robotics from the perspective of research and industrial practice.

Our long-standing cluster partner, the Chair of Factory Automation and Production Systems (FAPS) at FAU, invites you to the "Humanoid Days" in the Blue Box (Freyeslebenstr. 1, Erlangen) from July 7 to 9, 2026.

The seminar addresses the current paradigm shift: humanoid systems are increasingly leaving protected laboratory environments and moving into real value chains of production, logistics and service.

The focus is explicitly on the bridge between technological maturity, economic integration and concrete application scenarios - supplemented by exchange formats, an exhibition and a laboratory visit.

Program highlights

07.07. (free of charge): "Social Robots Day" with lectures and discussions on social robotics in the context of the FORSocialRobots project as well as networking (incl. "Social BBQ").

08-09.07. (specialist seminar): "Humanoid Robot Days" with impulses from industry and research, practical sessions and an accompanying trade exhibition.

Topics range from hardware innovations (e.g. actuators/gearboxes/sensors/energy) and software differentiation (including Industrial DevOps, Edge/TinyML) to market and application analyses.

Workshops on analyzing value creation potential and a lab tour at the FAPS (including autonomous mobile systems) are also planned.

Particularly exciting for cluster members: the Humanoid Days bundle technology and market overviews, provide insights into "state of the art" approaches and open up direct contact opportunities with players along the value chain - an ideal framework for sharpening your own pilot ideas and cooperation approaches.
