At the end of November, European cluster representatives came together in Regensburg for the Clusters Meet Regions & ECCP Matchmaking. The meeting was organized by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) on behalf of the European Commission together with the City of Regensburg, the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy and Bayern Innovativ.

Under the motto "Cross (X) Innovation - Unlocking Innovation through Cross-Cluster Collaboration", the meeting brought cluster representatives together with each other, as well as with industry representatives and stakeholders from science, administration and politics. The aim was to create synergies between different European clusters and to make the development of European regional innovation ecosystems more sustainable, resilient and competitive.
The Mechatronics & Automation Cluster and the Power Electronics Cluster jointly moderated a themed table on the topic of Industry 5.0 and the Full Electric Society. The theme table provided a space for an exchange on specific implementation strategies, challenges and opportunities in clusters and companies.
With two days of intensive sessions, matchmaking appointments, networking opportunities and expert discussions, the event provided an ideal environment for new projects and collaborations across cluster and national borders.
