Free Continuing Education Course from RiWaT: Resilient Supply Chains and Additive Technologies for Businesses

July 16, 2026

Rising material costs, fragile supply chains—how can companies make their production future-proof? The free, part-time continuing education program “RiWaT,” offered by FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and the University of Bayreuth, provides specialists and executives at Bavarian companies with practical guidance on how to make value chains more resilient and how to leverage the potential of additive manufacturing technologies, such as 3D printing, in a targeted manner.

The compact block format integrates well into everyday work life: The program kicks off with a networking meeting on September 18, 2026, followed by knowledge transfer sessions on September 24 and 25, 2026, at the University of Bayreuth. It’s no problem if you can only participate online or on specific days.

Thanks to funding from the European Social Fund (ESF), participation is free of charge for your company.
