Professional Development - Additive Manufacturing at SKZ

Additive manufacturing is increasingly becoming a key technology in modern production processes. To support skilled workers and users in gaining qualifications for this field of the future, the SKZ will offer various continuing education courses starting in the fall of 2026. The offerings range from introductory courses to design- and application-specific training, all the way to certification as a “Certified Additive Manufacturing Set-Up Specialist.”
Starting in fall 2026:
• Additive Tooling in Injection Molding: October 5–7 at the SKZ in Würzburg
• Certified Set-Up Specialist – Additive Manufacturing: October 26–30 at the SKZ in Würzburg
• Designing Correctly for Additive Manufacturing: November 23–24 at the SKZ in Würzburg and as a live online course from November 25–27
• Fundamentals of Additive Manufacturing: November 30–December 1 at the SKZ in Würzburg and as a live online version from December 2–4
A special highlight is the “Certified Industrial Technician (IHK) specializing in Additive Manufacturing” program, which will begin in June 2027 in cooperation with the IHK Würzburg.
