EU infrastructure tenders

The recent floods in Europe have highlighted the need to adapt European infrastructure to climate change and make it more resilient. Against this backdrop, the European Commission is providing €2.5 billion for the sustainable and smart modernization of European transport infrastructure under the Connecting Europe Facility. The money is to flow into projects in the EU, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.
The objectives of the tender are
- Improving connectivity and interoperability within Europe and with neighboring countries.
- Increasing the resilience of transport networks to natural disasters.
- Promote sustainable and intelligent transport infrastructure.
- Improving the safety of the entire EU transport network.
The call is aimed at projects that seamlessly connect the different modes of transport and strengthen resilience to climate change.
The deadline for applications is January 21, 2025
