IHK Nuremberg is looking for speakers for the international conference IPEC Defence & Security - Smart | Sovereign | Sustainable Europe, which will take place online on 17 March 2026 from 09:00 - 13:00 (CET). The aim of the IHK event is to promote professional exchange and cooperation on key challenges and opportunities in the field of defense and security - in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 7, 8, 9, 16 and 17).
We are looking for contributions on the following topics:
- Smart Technologies
- Critical infrastructure
- Cybersecurity & cognitive warfare
- Data sovereignty & European clouds
- AI in defense & governance
- Resilience & Sustainability
- Energy Security & Geopolitics
- Civil-military cooperation & crisis management
- Supply chains & transformation of the defense industry
Who can apply?
Individuals with expertise and experience from a wide range of industries, including: Defense, Security, AI, Cybersecurity, Critical Infrastructure, Energy and Resilience.
Formats:
- Keynote (20 min.)
- Session Speaker (10-20 min.)
- Innovative projects (5 min., 5 slides)
Deadline for speaker presentations: January 23, 2026.
IPEC 2026 is organized by the Nuremberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Middle Franconia - in close cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network at Bayern Innovativ GmbH, Automation Valley Nordbayern and with the support of VDE Bayern and eco2050 Institut für Nachhaltigkeit GmbH.
