Metecon GmbH expands management team with Katharina Thievessen: Strong and united for future tasks

Mannheim, 06.11.2024 - Metecon GmbH, a provider of regulatory services for medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics, is pleased to announce the appointment of Katharina Thievessen to the management board. Thievessen, who was previously an authorized signatory and responsible for operational management, will now form the dual leadership of the company together with founder and managing partner Alexander Fink.
"Katharina Thievessen knows Metecon in all its facets - from our internal processes to the specific needs of our customers and market requirements. With her many years of experience and excellent operational management skills, she is the ideal person to complete the management team and lead the company into the future together with me," explains Alexander Fink, founder and managing partner of Metecon. Thievessen joined Metecon in 2011 as a project engineer after completing her studies in biomedical engineering; she has been an authorized signatory since 2018 and is responsible for the operational management of the company.
With the new dual leadership, Metecon is sending a strong signal for the coming years: "The medical technology industry is facing major challenges in the face of ever stricter regulatory requirements and a constantly changing market.
