Climate change is demonstrably threatening the livelihoods of us all. Despite this, the issue does not necessarily seem to be getting the attention it deserves at the moment. Data from Statista Consumer Insights shows that only 26% of respondents consider climate change to be one of the most important challenges facing Germany. In contrast, this figure was almost 40 percent in 2021. Since then, the sense of threat among people in Germany has apparently steadily decreased.
