Urinary tract infections following sexual intercourse affect millions of women worldwide. It is also well known that the female anatomy, with its short distances between the urethra, vagina, perineum, and anus, plays a significant role in this.
Building on this concept, product designer and inventor Selina Jakumeit developed a completely new physical approach and filed an international patent application for the underlying technology in 2020.
This led to the creation of Cyscover®—the world’s first intimate care cover for use during intimate moments.
The ultra-thin, transparent cover is temporarily applied to the perineum and anal area. It combines intimate care, sexual wellness, and women’s health into a novel approach, thereby establishing a new product category.
A New Perspective on the Moment Itself
While existing products focus indirectly on the time before or after sexual intercourse, Cyscover® is the first to focus on the moment itself. The underlying technology requires no active ingredients and is based on a 100% physical approach.
Cyscover® is applied as an ultra-thin, highly flexible cover to the perineal and anal areas. After use, the cover can be easily removed without leaving any residue.
