What do you get when art meets entrepreneurship? Really good ideas. And that's exactly what was in the spotlight at THE THING 2025. As a start-up prize for Bavarian art academies, THE THING promotes creative minds who want more. Oliver Wittmann, Head of Creative Industries at Bayern Innovativ, was part of the jury and was impressed by the diversity and energy of the projects submitted.
THE THING is organized by HOCHSPRUNG in cooperation with the Bavarian art colleges and with the support of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. The prize honors innovative start-up projects by students and graduates of the six Bavarian art colleges - from concrete start-ups to promising ideas.
Oliver Wittmann (bayernkreativ), as part of the jury, presented the award in the category "Start-up Idea - Honorable Mentions" at the award ceremony.
🏆 1st place "Foundation" (10,000 euros): Music meets business. Delia Evers shows how music strengthens teams and makes collaboration a new experience in her interactive workshops - awarded 1st place in the "Start-up" category.

- KulturKiste - Tobias Blocher, Anne-Sophie Göske, Marion Lutsch, Alexander Leventov, Julian Lukacs (HMTM): Creative education program to convey high culture to children.
- Pink Apple - Abir Kobeissi, Oliver Zander (AdBK Munich): Consulting service for the professionalization of artists.
- reSTAGE - Maria Beier, Nathalia Cuenca-Berdugo, Friederike Kopetzki, Valentina Oefele (HMTM): Reuse of stage construction material.
The award ceremony was lively, personal and close to the ideas: With short pitches, interviews and conversations at eye level. Afterwards, there was networking, discussion and celebration over drinks and music.
