Tech Days 2026 in Munich
July 22, 2026
Interdisciplinary exchange opens up new perspectives: At Tech Days 2026, experts from business, academia, and the creative industries discussed the future of technological innovation.
Held on July 15 and 16, 2026, at Munich’s Werksviertel-Mitte, Tech Days 2026 once again impressively demonstrated how future technologies are conceived, discussed, and shaped in Bavaria. Through presentations, workshops, and interactive sessions, the event brought together people from business, academia, the creative industries, and technology, providing strong impetus for Bavaria as a hub of innovation.
A particular highlight was the Creative Tech Session, moderated by Andreas Auberger, Head of the CreativeTechHUB at Bayern Innovativ. The session focused on how creativity and technology can work together to generate new solutions, products, and partnerships.
The presentations by the invited experts demonstrated just how diverse and inspiring this connection can be: Daniel Nusser from DIPLOMA University spoke in his presentation “Designing pib – The Search for the Perfect You” about new perspectives on design and identity. Jürgen Baier and TJ Graebe from isento GmbH in Nuremberg provided exciting insights into creative innovation processes in their presentation “The Unexpected ‘Aha’ Moments: What Happens When Creatives Come into Play.” Mathis Nitschke, composer, technologist, entrepreneur, and managing director of Sofilab GmbH in Munich, demonstrated in “The Sound of Robotics – Sonic Interaction Design as a New Interface Between Human and Machine” how sound can function as an innovative interface between humans and machines.
The session made it clear: Innovation arises especially where different disciplines come together and new perspectives intersect. This is exactly where the CreativeTechHUB comes in: as a network that connects stakeholders from the creative industries, technology, science, and business, highlights trends, and supports promising ideas all the way through to implementation. Mathis Nitschke aptly summed up just how valuable this collaboration is:
“Creative professionals and technology experts solve problems in different ways. Often, they first have to familiarize themselves with each other’s approach, only to realize that while they share similar goals, they want to achieve them through different means. It is precisely this difference that makes them so valuable to one another.”
