The Enterprise Europe Network announces:
October 15, 2026
How ready is your company to attract investment? With the Investment Readiness Scorecard (IRS), young, innovative companies and startups can systematically assess their investment readiness in the fall of 2026. The Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) is offering two free online workshops on this topic as part of the European EEN2EIC project. BayFOR is organizing the workshops as a partner in the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
The IRS is a tried-and-tested online assessment tool developed by the Enterprise Europe Network. Based on 39 questions, it evaluates a company’s investment readiness in seven key areas:
- Team and Skills
- Business model
- Technology and level of innovation
- Market and competitive potential
- Financial planning
- Customer Development and Sales
- Scaling and Growth Strategy
In the workshop, participants work through the scorecard step by step in a small online group of no more than ten people. BayFOR explains the evaluation criteria and their significance. This provides companies with a structured overview of their strengths and areas for development, enabling them to identify specific areas of action for their business model, financing strategy, and growth. All inputs and results are treated confidentially and are visible only to the BayFOR organizers.
Target Audience
This program is aimed at innovative SMEs, startups, and scale-ups that are driving research and innovation projects, seeking to grow internationally, or looking to further develop their investment and financing strategies.
The scorecard is based on the expectations of professional investors as well as European funding instruments such as the European Innovation Council (EIC).
